CLASS TYPES

MODO FLOW

A challenging, healthy, yoga flow sequence. Postures are linked with breath and movement creating a fluid, beautiful practice rooted in vinyasa yoga.

Modo

A unique series of 40 postures that combine the precision of therapeutic yoga and the foundations of traditional yoga. The Modo series is a cardiovascular workout that loosens, strengthens and tones the muscles, while calming the mind and reducing stress. An accessible, challenging, healthy all-level hatha yoga sequence linked with breath, Modo focuses on strength building and alignment. Postures are held for 3 to 5 rounds of breath, giving you plenty of time to set up the postures in safe, sustainable way. Great for beginners and experienced students alike.

Freestyle Flow

A challenging and innovative vinyasa flow class inspired by our senior Modo teachers. Each class has its unique and creative focus rooted in intelligent vinyasa sequencing. This is a cardiovascular practice that integrates breath, movement, strength, flexibility and balance. Although Freestyle Flow classes might introduce some more advanced postures, it remains accessible to all.

Core Flow

A challenging Vinyasa class that blends core strengthening exercises and yoga. This core focused flow class is an opportunity to build strength in a yoga setting. You can expect the sequencing to incorporate many blocks of strengthening throughout. While the core work progresses and becomes more challenging throughout, the asana practice utilizes the engaged muscle groups or works to counter and open up what was working. Core Flow is a great class to assist in building the strength required for the progression of your more advanced Vinyasa practice. It is recommended that you have previous experience practicing Vinyasa.

Yin

The main body of the practice will be in the Yin Yoga tradition: long, deep holds of postures for 2-5 minutes allow the body to move beyond a muscular level and get into deep tissue work. This is a great practice to help you increase your range of motion. This class is challenging mentally and may challenge you physically with unfamiliar shapes but feels as wonderful as a restorative practice.

Yang Yin

This class is all about balance. The first section of class (Yang) is a challenging and invigorating flow sequence followed by long holds in the floor series to truly and fully relax your body and mind (Yin). You’ll feel amazing after this one!

Pilates

Pilates is a method of exercise that consists of low-impact flexibility and muscular strength and endurance movements. Pilates emphasizes proper postural alignment, core strength and muscle balance.

The Workout

The Workout is a High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) class. It is an incredibly effective way to build strength and power in short increments of time. If you want to get stronger, gain lean muscle, and tone, The Workout is the way to do it. Classes help improve your strength and cardio without having to run on a treadmill for an hour!

Prenatal

Mamas, mamas to be, and anyone looking for modifications in their practice due to injury, rehabilitation or wanting to move in their bodies differently, these classes are here for you!

Kinstretch

Kinstretch is a movement enhancement system that develops maximum body control, flexibility and USABLE ranges of motion. One of the most crucial differences between Kinstretch and other approaches is utilizing an active range of motion or mobility training to build your foundation. In short, Kinstretch can be described as strength training for your joints.

Meditation

The purpose of meditation is to be here now, in this moment. A moment to hit pause, connect with your breath and ease the tension of day to day life. Our meditations vary in length and style so you can find just the reset you need for your day! Join us for a guided meditation in which you will place your attention on your breath. As you get yourself ready remember: Sit comfortably! Close your eyes, this helps you turn your attention within. Let go of effort. When you notice your attention has wandered away from your breath, gently return it to your breath.

Take Flight

A playful and uplifting flow class infused with arm balancing and inversions. The class is geared toward the practitioner looking to find a complete body, mind and breath connection not only right side up but also upside down. Students are encouraged to feel comfortable with the Freestyle Flow and/or Modo Flow sequence before taking flight.
